  • Founder

I am a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. My spark for starting Sol was influenced by the growing need for alternative therapies to combat health concerns. With a background of over 7 years in emergency medicine, I see first hand how the lack of attention to our health can lead to chronic and sometimes life threatening disease. I spent the last two years working all over the country at some of the hardest hit hospitals during the height of the pandemic. There were many 12 hours shifts spent with minimal breaks, sad phone calls to families, and heart wrenching decisions due to poor hospital resources. The art of medicine began to feel more and more distant to me and I was searching for a different way to make an impact on peoples health and feel passionate again. In August 2020 I completed a Masters of Nursing Science at Azusa Pacific University in California. I was one of 3 in my class to receive a grant to complete a 1 year residency at Vista Community Clinic in San Diego. I learned from various specialties including Women’s Health, pediatrics, geriatric and family medicine. While I love working with underserved populations, I still felt the draw towards aesthetics and alternative therapies that help with cell regeneration.

I have completed an advanced course for medical providers from IV Therapy Academy to offer this in my practice. I have studied and trained in advanced facial anatomy to gain a better understanding of how neurotoxin, filler, microneedling, and topical chemical treatments can help slow the aging process and keep skin looking youthful and vibrant. I have also trained 1:1 with injectors on tox, filler, and biostimulators Lisa Stiles, RN from Face Studio (over 10 years of experience in the industry, Jennifer Collings RN from Huntington Beach, CA, and Chloe Celusnek, PA-C (@themedicalmind), and Dr. Tom Van Eijk (coined “the fern” technique), and Dr Gideon Kwok (@dr.gunsandneedles). I am a member of Rana Kennely (The Confidence Bar Chicago),  Daniel Julien of Ottawa Canada and Erika Barry’s (@injectorbunny) aesthetic education for medical professionals. I am constantly learning, fine tuning my technique and striving to provide my patients the very best results while maintaining a natural, youthful appearance. I attend conferences and trainings on a regular basis related to Aesthetics, skin health, and integrative health. I am an active member of A4M (American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine). Most recently I attended The Aesthetic Show in 2022 and Maui Derm in 2023 and 2024.

I am excited to help you feel confident, refreshed, and revamped! Infusions can always be individualized based on your needs and my approach to skin health/aesthetic injectables is unique to each client.

  • Licensed Esthetician

I’m a licensed esthetician born and raised in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i.

Pursuing a career in esthetics has always been a dream of mine. Since struggling with acne at a very young age I knew I wanted to make other people feel confident and beautiful from the inside out.

I graduated Big Island Beauty Academy in 2021 with a vast amount of knowledge in esthetics and all things beauty. Shortly after receiving my Esthetician license in 2022, I had the opportunity to work in a medical spa alongside very knowledgeable and reputable dermatology specialists and injectors. During my time there I attained exceptional training and experience as a Medical Aesthetician, performing a wide range of advanced facial and body treatments.

Fast forward to present day, I specialize in skin health, waxing, and brows. I love being able to educate people on the importance of skincare, and embarking on a journey of discovery with my lovely clients.

Here at Sol Medical I strive to share my passion providing treatments that harmoniously combine holistic and corrective approaches to enhance my clients natural beauty, and create a space where people feel comfortable knowing they’re receiving high quality care and a unique experience.

Outside of Sol, I spend most of my time working in dentistry and cherishing every moment spent with my husband and children in Hilo, Hawai’i.

Why Sol?

I am a sun lover. Obviously with SPF lathered all over! But truly— I follow the sun and am happiest when it’s shining. I feel the most energy, motivation, and satisfaction in my day. I spent a year and a half living in Mexico and the “sol” was what got me through the hard times.
