Big Island’s best skin tightening treatments
Most of my patients, when looking for something to enhance their face, neck, or chest are looking to tighten or improve the look of their skin. While neurotoxin (Botox, Xeomin, Jeauveau, Dysport, and more recently, Daxxify) can help lift the skin in some areas, it doesn’t create new collagen or tighten the skin. Filler may have a lifting affect with volumization but we can only take that so far. I never want my patient to appear puffy, doughy, or overfilled. There have been some new trends in aesthetics that I think are game changers in the industry and we are going to see a shift from dermal filler. Products such as Hyperdilute Radiesse and Sculptra are specifically used to create neocollagenesis.
Neocollagenesis is the process of new collagen production in the skin. In aesthetics, it is used to stimulate the body's natural collagen production in order to improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and increase skin firmness and elasticity. Treatments that can promote neocollagenesis include microneedling, laser therapy, and certain types of dermal fillers. By promoting the production of new collagen, these treatments can help to rejuvenate the skin and create a more youthful appearance.
Neurotoxin and filler will still have their place, and I don’t think that will go away, but we are lucky to have ever evolving science that can lead us to better outcomes, better results, and more optimized treatments that will meet your longterm aesthetic goals. Sol Medical is prepared to meet those needs by using the latest collagen stimulating injectables such as Hyperdilute Radiesse, platelet rich fibrin, and coming soon, Sculptra.
